The Emerging Opal provides instruction and activities to young women and girls between the ages of 10 and 14, after school, once per week during the school year. Girls are able to express themselves and share their feelings in a judgment-free setting. TEO inspires girls to be independent, intelligent, confident, and encourages them to rise up to challenges and pursue excellence.

The major planned activities revolve around the 6 Stepping Stones for young women and girls in the metropolitan Detroit area. Our dedicated and enthusiastic instructors provide stimulating lessons in a fun, engaging and friendly environment.
